But why don't they change us? Don't know. That's back to alien psychology. Two options here:

1. There might a single DOMINANT alien culture in our part of space, with a psychology of not wanting to have to keep intervening, and stopping other aliens from intervening.

2. It might be that we've shifted the burden of proof, because why should aliens care about keeping us alive enough to keep intervening?
