Timetable
You should come to all the lectures, and to one tutorial a week. There's a tutorial signup mechanism on Wattle.

If you have to miss a lecture, you must watch the recording of the lecture you missed BEFORE YOU COME TO YOUR NEXT TUTORIAL. This means that people who can't come to the Wednesday lecture will probably have to enrol in a Thursday tutorial.

Tutorials are officially compulsory. We understand that occasionally people just have to miss one, but if you do it's your responsibility to talk to the tutor to find out whether you've missed any announcements or handouts; and there is no alternative way to take the weekly multiple choice questions. If you miss a tutorial, you will get zero for the questions that week (although that's only a small proportion of the overall course grade, so it's probably not fatal).

All classes (both lectures and tutorials) start at five minutes past the advertised hour, and finish at five minutes to the next hour. Hey, it's a tradition.
